Holly Hofer joined Northern Wyoming Community College District in 2023 as a full-time Nursing faculty member. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse in February 2019 after graduating from Gillette College. Holly went on to receive her bachelor’s in nursing from Chamberlain University in 2020 and is planning on graduating from her Master’s program from Western Governors in 2026.
Holly’s nursing career began with working full-time in the Heptner Cancer and Infusion center. In that job, Holly was able to gain experience administering chemotherapy, administering blood products and helping to manage chronic diseases. Over the last 4.5 years, Holly also enjoyed mentoring and training new nurses along with precepting nursing students, which eventually led her to pursuing a job in nursing education.
